It's finally here!
After many years of amateur photography, I finally have a dedicated photoblog. Of course I have a load of photos on Flickr as well as on our website, but this sub site will be dedicated to the photos that I love.
About me
My name is Del. I'm a photo hobbyist, a blogger, a mountain biker, a geocacher, a father and a husband. I like to enjoy life whether that is taking photos in the hills or playing rugby with my mates. I have done some semi-professional work doing wedding photography. My favourite photos are landscapes and panoramas.
I currently have over 18000 photos on my hard drive plus the boxes full of negatives and prints from those pre-digital days. My father was a semi-pro sports photographer who inspired me. I got my first SLR when I was about 14 years old.
Equipment
My current camera is a Canon 350D equipped with a standard Canon 18-55mm f2.8-4, a Canon 75-300mm zoom. I would love to upgrade to a more professional camera (Canon 5D) but I can’t currently afford to.
